Course Summary

This course provides a glimpse into the structure of the press, including the new cyber-media, and teaches a critical approach to discerning the methods used in the media’s mass manipulation of public opinion, consuming habits, and voting preferences. Students will spend a considerable amount of time in this class researching and making presentations about various elements of the media.
